| 背面描述 | A full-color applied image of Squirrel Nutkin, the red squirrel character from Beatrix Potter's illustrated tale, depicted upright and facing left with forepaws raised, his bushy tail prominently arching overhead in natural orange tones. The surrounding field features finely struck relief foliage, mushrooms, flowers, and conifer branches, rendered in uncolored silver against which the colored figure is vividly contrasted. The character's name SQUIRREL NUTKIN ™ arcs along the upper legend in a style echoing the original Beatrix Potter typography. The copyright inscription ™ & © FW & Co., 2023 appears in the lower exergue. |

Squirrel Nutkin first appeared in Beatrix Potter's 1903 tale of the same name, making it one of her earlier character introductions and notably one of her few genuinely unpleasant protagonists — Nutkin's riddle-taunting of Old Brown the owl ends with the loss of most of his tail. The Solomon Islands has no particular connection to Potter's work; the country functions here purely as a licensing vehicle, a common arrangement for modern commemorative issues where the issuing authority generates revenue through collector sales rather than circulation.
