Aanvullende informatie

The "Snape" attribution here refers to the fictional Hogwarts professor, part of a broader licensing arrangement between the Solomon Islands' authorized minting agents and Warner Bros. The Solomon Islands has become one of the more prolific issuers of pop-culture numismatic novelties, with actual monetary circulation being essentially notional — these pieces are struck for the collector market and never approach the islands themselves.

Charles III's effigy on the obverse marks this as post-September 2022 issue, one of the first waves of collector coinage to adopt the new portrait under the updated royal effigy protocols.
