| 正面描述 | The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicting a stylised traditional Niuean pattern within a circular border inscribed PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by a laurel wreath, with crossed paddles below and a ribbon scroll bearing the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The legend NIUE and 50 CENTS appears in bold relief along the upper and right periphery respectively, while AU 9999, 1/1000 OZ, and 2025 are distributed around the lower and left periphery, all rendered in a satin gold finish. |

Niue has become one of the more prolific issuers of small-format legal tender gold under licensing arrangements that have little to do with the island's 1,600-person economy and everything to do with the global commemorative bullion market. At 0.0311 grams — exactly one troy gram's worth of .9999 gold — this piece is priced almost entirely on metal content plus a substantial collector premium.
Charles III's effigy appearing on Niuean coinage follows the standard Commonwealth authorization, though Niue's relationship with New Zealand means these circulate nowhere and are produced purely for the collector trade.
