| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, engraved by Dominique Thiébaut, occupying the central field of the heptagonal flan. The portrait renders the King in fine relief with naturalistic detail to the facial features and jacket collar. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the left periphery, with 2025 and SOLOMON ISLANDS continuing along the upper arc, and the denomination 50 CENTS inscribed along the lower edge, all separated by raised bullet points. The engraver's initials DT appear in small characters to the lower right of the portrait. |
