Reverse description A richly coloured commemorative design honouring John Logie Baird as a television pioneer. A central circular vignette features a black-and-white photographic portrait of Baird at work with his apparatus, surrounded by an annular band divided into vivid colour segments — yellow, green, magenta, and blue — each illustrated with period images of his inventions and demonstrations, including early mechanical television equipment and colour television apparatus. Three milestone dates — 1926, 1928, and 1888–1946 — are inscribed within the lower portion of the design.
