| Additional information |
The Flower Fairies series draws on Cicely Mary Barker's illustrated books, first published in 1923, in which each fairy was botanically paired with a specific plant — a concept unusual enough that the books have remained continuously in print for over a century. Solomon Islands has issued collector-oriented gold-plated iron pieces under Charles III's name since his accession in 2022, a reign too recent to have produced much numismatic tradition of its own.
