| Aanvullende informatie |
Flopsy is one of the four rabbits named in Beatrix Potter's 1893 manuscript, though she didn't reach print until The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies in 1909. The Solomon Islands has become a prolific issuing authority for low-cost numismatic novelties of this type — silver-plated iron rather than struck silver keeps the price point accessible while maintaining the appearance of a precious-metal issue.
