Along the lower periphery, reading clockwise from the left, appear the specifications 1/2oz, 9999, Ag, the date 2026, and the denomination 50 CENTS, separated by raised dots. The initials JC appear incuse below the portrait truncation.

背面描述	A stylised, coloured depiction of a recumbent foal rendered in a charming, whimsical artistic style dominates the centre of the field. The foal, finished in warm golden-chestnut tones with a flowing silver-grey mane and tail, rests upon a decorative floral meadow mat adorned with coloured daisies in yellow, orange, and pink. A small dragonfly appears in relief to the left of the foal. The Chinese character 馬 (horse) is struck in relief to the right. The arc legend YEAR OF THE HORSE runs along the upper periphery in a hand-lettered style, and the Perth Mint's P mintmark appears to the lower right, with the designer's initials NM incuse at the base.
