The "Celebrate 2025" series marks the Royal Australian Mint's continuation of a promotional coining program that has issued annual themed circulating commemoratives since the early 2000s. Charles III's effigy here is the first portrait approved for Australian coinage following the accession in September 2022, sculpted by London-based engraver Martin Jennings — the same artist behind the UK's definitive effigy for the reign.
