正面铭文 REDONDA 50¢ 2013
背面描述 The reverse presents a central device depicting a Royal Navy warship rendered in low relief, its bow and hull cradled by two open hands rising from below, symbolising remembrance and protection. In the upper right field, a small outline map of the Falkland Islands is shown, referencing Margaret Thatcher's role in the 1982 Falklands War. The commemorative legend 'IN MEMORY OF THE 'IRON LADY' MARGARET THATCHER' arcs around the upper and left periphery in bold lettering, while the birth and death dates '1925–2013' appear in the lower exergue.

附加信息

Redonda is a uninhabited rocky islet in the Caribbean, part of Antigua and Barbuda, with no government, no residents, and no monetary system — which has not stopped a succession of self-proclaimed "kings" from issuing collector coins in its name since the 1990s. The kingdom traces its fictional lineage to an 1865 claim by Matthew Dowdy Shiell, whose son later turned it into a literary joke that passed through a chain of British authors including M.P. Shiel and John Gawsworth.

These steel-composition pieces are fantasy issues with no legal tender status anywhere.
