| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Namibia occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a sun and diagonal stripes, supported on either side by two rearing gemsbok (oryx). An African fish eagle with outstretched wings is displayed above the shield as the crest. Below the shield, a ribbon banner carries the national motto in three segments: UNITY, LIBERTY, and JUSTICE.
