Beschrijving voorzijde	The full Arms of Guyana displayed centrally within a beaded border. The shield is quartered, depicting a Canje pheasant (Hoatzin) in base, three wavy horizontal lines representing the rivers, a Victoria amazonica water lily, and a sugar cane stalk with a pickaxe. Two jaguars serve as supporters, rampant on either side, while an Amerindian headdress of feathers surmounts the helm as the crest. A scroll at the base bears the national motto in three parts across two ribbons, reading ONE PEOPLE ONE NATION ONE DESTINY in raised Latin lettering.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The numeral 50 appears prominently at center within a beaded circle, with the spelled-out denomination FIFTY CENTS arcing above and the issuing authority BANK OF GUYANA inscribed along the upper periphery. The date 1967 is positioned in the lower field, flanked on either side by a Hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin), Guyana's national bird, rendered in profile facing inward. The overall composition is contained within a plain field with a beaded outer border.
