| 表面の説明 | Typeset letterpress note printed in black ink within a plain rectangular border frame. The local coat of arms appears to the left, with the denomination and issuing text arranged in multiple lines across the face. The overall design is austere, consistent with locally produced Civil War-era emergency scrip. |

Villar de los Navarros is a small municipality in Zaragoza province, Aragon — well within the Nationalist zone for most of the Civil War, though the Aragon front ran close enough to create genuine disruption to commerce. Notes like this one were produced by hundreds of Spanish municipalities in 1936–37 as Republican and Nationalist administrations alike scrambled to fill an immediate coin shortage caused by hoarding and the near-total disappearance of silver and copper from everyday circulation.
The validation stamp is the only security feature, which was typical of these emergency municipal emissions — authenticity depended entirely on local recognition rather than technical printing sophistication.
