| Obverse description | Entirely letterpress-printed in red on cream paper, the face is enclosed within a multi-rule border composed of repeating geometric and foliate ornaments at the corners and along all four sides. The upper portion carries the issuing authority in two lines, with the locality name in a smaller font below, followed by a pair of horizontal rule bands. The denomination is stated in large bold type at centre, with the printer's imprint in small capitals along the bottom margin. |

| Reverse description | The otherwise plain reverse bears a large oval municipal validation stamp applied in red ink, centrally positioned and covering most of the surface. The stamp contains a heraldic vignette at centre — appearing to show a locomotive or wheeled vehicle motif — encircled by the legend of the issuing council, with a star separator between the two portions of the inscription. |
