| Anmerkungen |
Valderrobres is a small town in the Matarraña comarca of Aragon, and like hundreds of Spanish municipalities during the Civil War, its local council issued emergency fractional currency when coin disappeared from circulation almost entirely in 1936–37. The Republican government nominally authorized these emissions but had little practical control over their design or printing — most were produced by local print shops with whatever materials were on hand.
The Gari Montserrat reference places this among the documented Aragonese municipal issues, a category where fakes and fantasy pieces do exist, making the presence of the official stamp the only meaningful authentication point for loose examples.
