| Obverse description | Printed in black on plain paper, the note is framed by a decorative geometric and stylised fan-motif border. The issuing authority 'AYUNTAMIENTO DE UBEDA' appears in bold lettering across the upper central field, above the subtitle 'Billete fraccionario de esta localidad' and the large denomination inscription 'CINCUENTA CENTIMOS'. Series letter and serial number are positioned in the upper margin, with the date 'Ubeda 1-3-937' at lower left and the facsimile signature of the Mayor, 'El Alcalde, Blas Duarte', at lower right. A cautionary note regarding the invalidity of folded notes runs along the bottom edge, and a violet official stamp is applied across the centre. |

| Reverse description | Printed entirely in deep pink on a pale ground, the reverse is divided into three horizontal registers separated by bands of fine stippled guilloche underprint. The upper and lower registers carry dense, interlocking floral and arabesque scrollwork arranged in a grid of rosette and foliage cartouches. The central band bears the bold face-value numeral '50' and abbreviation 'CTS.' against a dotted background. A violet official control stamp is applied across the left-centre of the note. |
