| 备注 |
Sunyer is a tiny municipality in the Pla d'Urgell comarca of Catalonia, and like hundreds of similarly small Catalan and Spanish towns, it issued its own fractional paper currency during the Civil War after the Republican government's Decree of 24 August 1937 attempted to regularize — but could not fully control — the torrent of locally printed emergency money. The sole security feature, a municipal stamp impression, was the norm for these issues: the town had neither the means nor the time for anything more.
Turró catalogues over 2,800 distinct municipal emissions from this period. Sunyer's single known value makes it one of the more minimal issuers on record.
