备注	Sisante is a small municipality in Cuenca province, Castilla–La Mancha, and like hundreds of similarly sized Republican-held towns during the Civil War, it resorted to issuing its own fractional emergency currency in 1937 when coinage — hoarded, melted, or simply absent — ceased to function in daily commerce. These local vales or billetes de necesidad were authorised under Republican emergency measures but produced entirely at the municipal level, often on whatever printing equipment was locally available. The Garrido Moraga catalogue gaps for Sisante reflect how poorly documented many Cuenca-area emissions remain.
