| 备注 |
Les Oluges is a small municipality in the Segarra comarca of Catalonia, and like hundreds of similarly minor Catalan towns, it issued its own emergency paper money during the Spanish Civil War after the Republican government's decree of May 1937 authorized local authorities to print small-denomination fractional currency to address the near-total disappearance of coins from circulation. The Turró catalog documents thousands of these emissions, but the Oluges issues are among the more obscure — the town's population was, and remains, tiny, meaning print runs were correspondingly small and survival rates are low.
The thick card stock construction was typical of municipalities that lacked access to proper banknote paper and improvised with whatever the local printer had available.
