| 备注 |
Montmaneu is a tiny municipality in the comarca of Conca de Barberà, and its wartime scrip belongs to the vast ecosystem of moneda local that flooded Catalonia after July 1936, when the collapse of normal commerce and the hoarding of metal coinage left small communities to fend for themselves. The Generalitat eventually tried to regulate this proliferation, but hundreds of ayuntamientos had already printed their own solutions before any oversight arrived.
At Turró 1580, this 50 céntimos piece falls into the thicker card stock category common to notes produced without access to proper banknote paper — local stationers, print shops, even schoolroom suppliers served as improvisers. Montmaneu's total wartime population was well under a thousand, so original print runs were almost certainly small.
