Obverse description	Printed in blue-green on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a fine ornamental guilloche border. The municipal name appears in large letterpress script across the top, with the denomination 'VAL PER 50 CTS.' in bold central text below. An oval vignette of the local coat of arms is positioned to the upper right, and three signature lines — L'Alcalde, El Secretari Interventor, and El Caixer — appear at the foot, with a large underprint numeral '50' to the left.
Obverse lettering	Ajuntament de Maçanet de la Selva VAL PER 50 CTS. Reintegrable en la Caixa Municipal en virtut d'acord de l'Ajuntament en data 19 de Maig de 1937. L'Alcalde El Secretari Interventor El Caixer (Translation: City Council of Maçanet de la Selva Valid for 50 Centimos. Refundable to the Municipal Treasury by agreement of the City Council dated 19 May 1937. The Mayor, The Interventor Secretary, The Cashier.)
Reverse description	Printed in dark blue-green on cream paper, the reverse carries a continuous scroll ornamental border enclosing a plain guilloche underprint field. The central legend is set in two lines of letterpress text. Four serial numbers in red, one in each corner, are repeated across the note.
