| 备注 |
La Riba is a small municipality in the Baix Camp comarca of Tarragona province, and like hundreds of Catalan towns during the Civil War, it issued its own emergency fractional currency after Republican authorities failed to keep small-denomination coinage in circulation. The silver and copper shortage was acute by 1937, and local councils across Catalonia were effectively left to solve the problem themselves.
Imprenta Solé was a Tarragona commercial printer with no specialist banknote experience — which shows in the modest production quality typical of these municipal issues. Turró catalogued over two thousand such references from the period.
