| 备注 |
Emergency local currency issued during the Spanish Civil War, when the Republican zone suffered an acute shortage of small-denomination coinage. Municipal councils, cooperatives, and industrial enterprises across Catalonia were authorized — loosely — to produce their own paper fractional currency, known collectively as moneda local or paper moneda. La Sociedad General de Hules was a rubber goods manufacturer in Gavà, a small coastal town south of Barcelona, and like dozens of similar firms it stepped in to keep daily commerce moving when official small change simply ceased to circulate.
AL#628 is catalogued in Andreu i Llorens's reference work on Catalan civil war issues. These industrial-issuer notes are among the more obscure of the series — firm-specific rather than municipal, which limits surviving quantities.
