| 表面の説明 | Letterpress-printed note in red ink on cream paper, with a geometric ruled border enclosing the central text panel. A stylized coat of arms of the Spanish Republic appears within the design, flanked by the issuing authority's legends and the denomination in alphanumeric form. The layout follows the austere typographic style typical of Spanish Civil War municipal emergency issues. |

Dolores is a small municipality in Alicante province, and like hundreds of other Spanish towns it found itself without fractional coinage almost immediately after the July 1936 military rising. The Republican government's emergency decree authorizing municipal councils to issue their own paper currency produced an extraordinary diversity of local notes — some crudely printed, some surprisingly competent — that collectors now catalog under the broad heading of "billetes locales." This one belongs to that sprawling, imperfectly documented category.
The Gari Mon reference places it firmly within that regional survey, though surviving examples from Dolores are not frequently traded, suggesting limited original print runs or heavy attrition during and after the war.
