正面描述 Printed in blue on white paper, the obverse is framed by geometric borders enclosing an allegorical female figure reclining against the coat of arms of the Spanish Republic, with a lion at her feet. The vignette is rendered in a letterpress style typical of Spanish Civil War municipal emergency issues. The full payment obligation legend runs across the note in bold uppercase lettering.

背面描述 The reverse is printed in blue and centres on a rhomboid local coat of arms as the principal vignette, flanked by circular cartouches on each lateral side bearing the numerical face value. The overall layout is symmetrical, framed with simple geometric ruling consistent with the austere production standards of wartime Spanish municipal notes.

备注

Casas Ibáñez is a small municipality in the province of Albacete, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, its municipal council issued emergency fractional currency in 1937 when Republican-zone coinage effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply not minted. These local issues, collectively known as moneda local de necesidad, were authorized under a loose Republican framework that gave individual councils latitude to print their own fractional paper, with predictably uneven results in terms of design quality and redemption reliability.

The Gari Monerris catalogue reference places this within a well-documented Albacete provincial group, but survival rates for Casas Ibáñez issues are low — the town's population was under 5,000, and total print runs for councils of this size rarely exceeded a few thousand notes.
