| Anmerkungen |
Carrizosa is a small municipality in the Campo de Montiel comarca of Ciudad Real province, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, its municipal council resorted to locally produced small-denomination emergency notes when Republican-zone coinage essentially vanished from circulation. The Generalísimo's Nationalist forces had disrupted normal monetary supply chains, and the Republican government's centimos simply weren't reaching rural Castilla-La Mancha in usable quantities.
The Gari Mon 458-B designation suggests at least two known varieties for this denomination, distinguishing what are likely differences in ink, paper stock, or hand-stamped authorization marks rather than substantive design changes. Production at this scale was improvised — town hall resources, nothing more.
