| Beschrijving voorzijde | Letterpress-printed emergency voucher in red ink with a geometric perimeter border executed in green and red. The coat of arms of the Spanish Republic is centred at the top, with the issuing municipal authority inscription and denomination statement arranged below in a plain, utilitarian typeset layout. The overall composition is austere, reflecting the wartime emergency conditions under which it was produced in the province of Cuenca. |

| Opmerkingen |
Campillo de Altobuey is a small municipality in Cuenca province, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, its municipal council issued fractional paper currency to address the acute coin shortage that followed the Republican government's loss of control over metal supplies and hoarding. These local emergency emissions — known collectively as moneda local or billetes de necesidad — were produced under varying degrees of improvisation, often on whatever paper and printing equipment was locally available.
The absent Gari Monerris catalog number suggests this piece either escaped systematic documentation or surfaced after the reference was compiled. Unregistered emissions from Cuenca province are not rare, but they complicate attribution.
