| Opmerkingen |
Bedmar is a small municipality in the province of Jaén, Andalusia, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, its local council issued emergency fractional currency when Republican-zone coinage vanished from circulation almost overnight in 1936–37. These municipal issues — collectively catalogued under the Spanish Civil War emergency money series — were produced locally, often on whatever card or heavy paper was at hand, with no standardized printing infrastructure behind them.
The Gari Mon#247-B reference places this within a recognized but thinly documented series. Survival rates for Bedmar issues are low simply due to small original print runs and limited collector attention to minor Andalusian municipalities.
