| Beschrijving voorzijde | The left half of the obverse carries a bold woodcut-style vignette of the Barcelona municipal coat of arms — the quartered cross and bars shield set within an elaborate acanthus scroll — superimposed over a fully rigged sailing caravel rendered in dark olive-green tones. The right half presents the denomination in large Gothic display lettering against a light underprint of repeating alphanumeric characters (letters A, B, C and numerals 2, 3, 4) printed in pale olive, with two manuscript facsimile signatures below the authorising clause. |
