| 正面描述 | Printed in black on orange-buff paper, the obverse carries the municipal coat of arms of Badalona within a laurel wreath at upper left, beside a circular control stamp. The issuer's name, "AJUNTAMENT DE BADALONA", appears in bold letterpress across the upper centre, with the denomination "50 CTS." set in large type to the right of the word "VAL". The remainder of the field is occupied by a block of Catalan-language text specifying the goods for which the voucher was redeemable, concluded by a note regarding cash redemption at the Municipal Intervention. |

| 备注 |
Badalona, an industrial city just north of Barcelona, was under firm Republican control throughout the Civil War. Like hundreds of Catalan municipalities, the Ajuntament issued its own fractional emergency currency in 1937 after the withdrawal of metal coinage left daily commerce nearly paralyzed — small transactions simply could not function without low-denomination instruments, and the central Republican treasury was in no position to fill the gap locally.
Municipal issues of this type were produced in enormous variety but typically tiny runs. Turró catalogues over 1,500 distinct Spanish Civil War local emissions, and the Badalona 50 céntimos sits among the more obscure of them.
