正面描述 At centre, a rhomboid emblem bears a clenched fist set against the four vertical bars of the Catalan flag, executed in a bold graphic style characteristic of Republican-era emergency currency. The denomination '50 ctms.' is incorporated within the central design. Surrounding legends in Catalan name the issuing authority and attest to the note's guaranteed and obligatory circulation within the locality.

背面描述 A fine-line vignette after an illustration by artist Àngel Grau renders the 'Font del Lleó' (Fountain of the Lion), a rustic woodland fountain at the entrance to the Colonia la Llobeta, evoking a tranquil forest setting through detailed linear draftsmanship. 备注

Aiguafreda is a small municipality in the Vallès Oriental comarca, northeast of Barcelona, and like hundreds of Catalan towns it issued its own emergency fractional currency during 1937 as the Republic's coinage supply collapsed under wartime conditions. These local issues — collectively known as moneda de paper municipal — were authorized under the Generalitat de Catalunya's emergency framework and varied wildly in print quality depending on what press each municipality could access.

Grafos, by 1937 operating as a collectivized workshop under CNT-FAI control, handled a significant share of Barcelona's commercial printing during the war years. Their involvement here is typical of how anarcho-syndicalist collectives absorbed civilian production contracts across Catalonia.
