Obverse description Central field occupied by the Spanish royal coat of arms, depicting the quartered shield with the castles of Castile and lions of León, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is flanked by elaborate foliate and scroll ornaments extending to the rim. The legend CINCUENTA CENTIMOS arcs around the upper periphery, with the mint marks PC and S flanking the lower scrollwork, and the date 1926 appearing in the exergue below the arms.
