| Reverse description | The denomination '50' is prominently displayed in large numerals at the centre of a lozenge-shaped inner frame, flanked to the right by the bilingual legend 'CEN- / TIMES' in Latin characters. Above the numeral, Arabic script reading 'نصف قطعة' (half unit) is inscribed, while below the numeral additional Arabic text reads 'سنتيم' (centimes). The word 'ESSAI' appears in small capitals in the lower exergual area, confirming the trial nature of the piece. The entire inner panel is surrounded by an elaborate border of interlaced arabesque ornament conforming to the dodecagonal shape of the flan. |
