| 正面描述 | Printed in blue on white paper, the note carries the heading CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE DU TARN beneath the monogram CCT within a decorative arch, with the deliberation date 22 DÉCEMBRE 1917 inscribed below. The denomination CINQUANTE CENTIMES is set in large letterpress type across the centre, over a guilloche underprint bearing the repeated legend CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE DU TARN, with a large numeral 50 watermark-style figure in the background. Two allegorical female figures in classical dress flank the central vignette at left and right, with armorial shields in the upper corners and the departmental coat of arms at the foot; three manuscript signature lines and a serial number appear across the centre field. |

| 备注 |
The Chambres de Commerce du Tarn issued this note under the emergency framework that pushed hundreds of French regional and municipal chambers into producing their own fractional currency after 1914. The national coinage had effectively vanished — hoarded, melted, or absorbed by wartime demand — and the Banque de France was neither willing nor equipped to fill the gap at small denominations. The result was a patchwork of local paper, of wildly varying quality and authority, that circulated on nothing more than local trust.
L. Cassan Ainé in Toulouse handled several such commissions for southwestern departments. The JP# 5-09/10/11/12 reference covers four catalogue variants within this 50 centimes type.
