| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed on pink paper, the obverse is entirely typographic in layout, framed by a decorative letterpress border of floral and scroll ornaments with corner rosettes and a repeated chain motif along the lower edge. The issuer's name appears in bold capitals at the top, with the serial number and place name on the line below. The denomination 'BON pour 0 Fr. 50' is set in large bold type at centre, above an italic clause stating the redemption conditions, while a large numeral '0,50' printed in gold ink occupies the lower centre alongside a manuscript signature in violet ink. The date '4 Août 1914' is inscribed at lower left, and the issuer's name is repeated vertically in the left margin. |
