Joint issues between two regional Chambers of Commerce were relatively uncommon in the French emergency note system of the 1914–1926 period, and this collaboration between Mâcon and Bourg-en-Bresse reflects a practical administrative arrangement between neighboring commercial districts in the Saône-et-Loire and Ain departments.
