备注	Saint-Quentin sat in German-occupied territory for nearly the entire war, and the Chambre de Commerce continued issuing emergency notes to keep local commerce functioning under occupation — a practical necessity given that the French state's monetary infrastructure had effectively collapsed in the region. These small-denomination bons de nécessité filled the gap left by hoarded or simply absent metal coinage after August 1914. Imprimerie Paul Dupont, a well-established Paris house, handled the printing, though distribution into occupied Saint-Quentin was another matter entirely.
