The city arms of Narbonne, surmounted by a mural crown and flanked by laurel branches, occupy the upper centre, with a large interlaced monogram RF to either side. The denomination 50 CENTIMES is set in large bold type across the centre. The four corners each carry a circular cartouche bearing the value 0,50. A lower panel carries the redemption clause in small letterpress text, and the printer's imprint appears at the foot. |
