| Obverse description | The obverse is printed on a pale green guilloche ground enclosed by a full-perimeter decorative border of interlocking geometric motifs in red. The heading "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE MENDE (LOZÈRE)" and the deliberation date arc across the top, while the denomination "50 CENTIMES" is rendered in bold letterpress at centre, beneath which a circular dry-stamp of the Chambre de Commerce is affixed. Two municipal coat-of-arms vignettes flank the central field, and facsimile signature lines for the Trésorier and the Président appear below, with series and serial designations at lower left and right. |

The legend "CINQUANTE CENTIMES" is set in ornate blue letterpress across the upper portion, with the value "0,50" repeated in each corner. A central text panel in small letterpress sets out the note's redemption conditions, including the deadline of 31 December 1922, exchangeability against Banque de France notes, and acceptance at all public treasury offices of the Département de la Lozère. |
