| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in brown on plain paper with a braided rectangular border enclosing an inner dotted frame. The entire field is occupied by a legal guarantee text rendered in an elegant copperplate script, stating that the bons are exchangeable in multiples of ten against Banque de France notes and that their redemption is guaranteed by a deposit of equal value held at the Banque de France in the name of the issuing chamber. The year '1915' appears at the bottom centre within a small foliate ornament flanked by laurel sprigs. |
