| Obverse description | Yellow-ochre guilloche underprint on a cream ground, enclosed within an ornate dark brown letterpress border with foliate corner ornaments and interlaced cartouches bearing the monogram "DC" at left and right. Two allegorical female figures in classical drapery flank the central field — the left figure holds a fasces or staff, the right rests against a plinth — with the large denomination numeral and text in red at centre. Two facsimile signatures in red ink appear below the title lines for the Treasurer and the President, with the serial number printed in black at the foot. |
