| 备注 |
French chambers of commerce were authorized to issue emergency small-denomination notes during World War One to address a nationwide shortage of coin — silver and copper had been hoarded or diverted to the war effort. This Châlon-sur-Saône, Autun et Louhans chamber note dates to 1919, meaning it was printed after the Armistice but still within the window when chamber currency remained legally valid. The authorization framework that permitted these issues was progressively wound down through the early 1920s, with most chambers required to redeem and withdraw their notes by 1925.
Imprimerie B. Arnaud was one of the more prolific printers of French chambre de commerce emergency issues, supplying notes to multiple regional chambers across this period.
