| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red and black on a pale ground covered with a fine typographic underprint repeating the text "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE BESANÇON ET DU DOUBS" in light blue. The denomination "50 Centimes" is set in large red script lettering across the centre, flanked below by two manuscript signatures above the printed titles "Le Trésorier" and "Le Président". A circular blind-stamp of the Chambre de Commerce de Besançon, dated 12 Mai 1919, is positioned centrally between the signatures, with the series number and serial number at lower left and lower right respectively, all within a decorative red guilloche border. |
