| Obverse description | Light green note with a red decorative lace-pattern border enclosing a repeated watermark-style underprint reading "CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE BELFORT" across the entire field. The large denomination numeral "50" and the word "Centimes" in bold letterpress occupy the centre, flanked on each side by a circular blue vignette — the left bearing a sower figure, the right a floral or laurel device.
