| Obverse description | Printed in blue and violet on pale blue guilloché underprint, the note is enclosed within an ornate letterpress frame of scrollwork and acanthus-leaf vignettes at each corner and along the top border. The central text panel carries the issuer name, decree date, and denomination in large serif type, with lines for the Trésorier and Président signatures below; Série A. designation appears at lower left and the serial number in black at lower right. The printer's imprint 'A. DESVAGES IMP' is printed vertically along the left margin, and the redemption clause appears in small type at the foot of the note. |
