Reverse description	The reverse is entirely letterpress-typeset and presents an extract of the decree of 11 February 1917 ('EXTRAIT DU DÉCRET DU 11 FÉVRIER 1917') in French, setting out the legal tender status of the bons de caisse within the colony and the penalties prescribed for counterfeiting. The denomination '50 CENTIMES' is repeated in the top and bottom central panels and in vertical strips along both side margins, while the closing line 'Ce bon de caisse a cours forcé dans toute la Colonie.' appears in bold italic. The printer's imprint 'Imp. Chaix – Paris' is placed at the lower right.
