| Obverse description | Typeset letterpress note printed in brown on cream paper stock, framed by a simple rectangular guilloche border. The issuing authority title and colonial treasury designation appear at the top, with the denomination CINQUANTE CENTIMES in large capitals at centre, below which a handwritten serial number is inscribed. Three signature lines at the foot correspond to the Secrétaire Général, the Directeur de l'Intérieur, and the Trésorier-Payeur, with the guarantee clause in small type along the bottom margin. |
