| 裏面の説明 | Central device comprises the full national coat of arms of Uruguay — an oval shield quartered with a scales of justice, a fortress hill, a galloping horse, and a bull, surmounted by a radiant rising sun — all enclosed within a wreath of olive branches tied at the base with a ribbon. Nineteen five-pointed stars arranged in a circle surround the central device near the periphery, referencing the departments of Uruguay. The denomination '50' appears prominently in large numerals in the lower field, with 'CENTÉSIMOS' inscribed immediately below in a bold serif legend. The entire design is bordered by a fine beaded inner rim. |

This piece was struck as Uruguay explored a currency reform that would eventually culminate in the 1975 introduction of the nuevo peso, replacing a system badly eroded by inflation. Pattern issues from this transitional period are thinly documented; KM#Pn57 survives in very small numbers and appears in auction records only sporadically. Whether it advanced beyond internal evaluation at the Casa de Moneda de Uruguay is not firmly established.
