Reverse description Central denomination numeral '50' dominates the field, surmounted by a vertical pike topped with a Liberty cap, from which radiate multiple diagonal lines suggesting sunbeams. Below the numeral, the word CENTÉSIMOS is inscribed in bold lettering across the middle of the field. Flanking the pike are two symmetrical olive or laurel branches curving outward toward the lower rim. The date 1943 appears within a recessed cartouche at the base, set above a decorative wave or water motif, with the Santiago de Chile mintmark 'So' positioned at the lower left of the field.
