备注

Banco Nacional Ultramarino issued this 50 Centavos note for circulation in Portuguese Guinea — one of several small-denomination fractional notes introduced during the First World War when metallic coinage effectively disappeared from West African colonial pockets. The "seal type II" designation marks a validation change applied to the series; the same printed sheets received different official overprints or cachets depending on the issuing authority's administrative decisions at the time of release.

Bradbury Wilkinson's involvement places the physical production firmly in New Malden, Surrey — the firm's actual operating address despite the London association.
